Privacy Policy

CaseScene collects the following data to operate the service: • Account information (email, username) • Game statistics (solved cases, scores, rank) • Device information (operating system, language preference) • Usage data (session duration, preferred features)

Collected data is used only for these purposes: • Personalizing your game experience • Managing rankings and achievement systems • Service improvement and bug fixes • Fulfilling legal obligations

We keep your data only as long as needed: • Account data: retained while your account is active. Accounts inactive for 30 consecutive months are deleted automatically. • Game telemetry: retained for 24 months, then anonymised. • Billing and transaction records: retained for 7 years to meet Turkish tax law (Vergi Usul Kanunu) and equivalent EU obligations. • Support correspondence: retained for 24 months from the last reply. You may request earlier deletion at any time.

Your data is stored encrypted on Firebase infrastructure. SSL/TLS encryption is used for all data transfers. Your personal data is not sold or shared with third parties for marketing.

You have the following rights regarding your personal data: • Access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you • Rectification — request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data • Erasure — request deletion of your account, transcripts, and generated cases • Restriction — request that we limit how we process your data • Objection — object to processing based on our legitimate interests • Portability — receive your data in a portable, machine-readable format (GDPR Art. 20) Write to privacy@casescene.app. We respond within 30 days.

CaseScene does not make decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects about you using solely automated processing. Our AI generates fictional cases and suspect dialogue; it does not make judgments about you, your access, your billing, or your rights. A human reviewer handles complaints, refunds, account actions, and content reports.

CaseScene is rated 12+ and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. Within the EU/EEA, users aged 13–15 require parental consent before creating an account; we enforce this with an age gate at sign-up. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, write to privacy@casescene.app and we will delete it.
